bEam arts, an independent, self‑funded arts organization based in Thessaloniki, invites artists from around the world to participate in its International Artist Residency. The program runs for 1–2 months and can accommodate up to five artists per cohort, offering a dedicated studio in a shared space, optional private accommodation, and continuous one‑to‑one mentorship. Residents are encouraged to engage with the local art scene through visits to museums, galleries, and studios, and to present their work in a final group exhibition at the end of each residency. The residency also provides a well‑equipped communal workshop, opportunities to propose site‑specific projects, workshops, and presentations, as well as promotion through the organization’s social media channels and the chance to sell work during the exhibition. Applications are open until 4 September 2026, with the first residency period scheduled for 5 January 2027. The program is open to artists of any medium, career stage, and nationality, and welcomes pets and family members. There is no application fee, and the residency fee is €1 000 per month without accommodation or €1 850 with accommodation, with an additional €150 for duo artists. Applicants are encouraged to seek external funding to cover costs, and bEam arts offers support in the form of letters of invitation and documentation.
