The Revitalizing Rituals Artist Residency, led by Pro Progressione and hosted by the Homo Faber Foundation, invites artists from diverse disciplines to explore rituals, belonging, ecology, food, storytelling, and community relationships through collaborative artistic research in Bhar Lazreg, Tunisia, and the wetlands of Somogy County, Hungary. The programme is a research-creation initiative connecting artists and communities around cultural identity and ecological connection. Four artists will be selected, two for Tunisia and two for Hungary, for a one-month residency. The programme is designed for experienced artists with an active practice who are committed to reciprocal, non-extractive engagement with local communities and ecological environments. It welcomes practitioners working in sound, movement, visual arts, installation, performance, and transdisciplinary approaches; applicants must be able to communicate in English. Selected artists receive a 6,000 euro gross artist fee and production budget, along with travel support, per diems, and accommodation. Applications are made through the Homo Faber Foundation open-call page.
