This is Gender’s inaugural Regional Curatorial Fellows Programme is a 7‑month remote fellowship designed for early‑career curators and cultural practitioners working across photography, visual culture, and gender justice. The fellowship embeds regional curators within the organisation’s global photography competition, allowing them to contribute local knowledge, critical perspectives, and lived contexts to the selection, interpretation, and dissemination of photographic work. Fellows will gain experience in how international platforms discover, review, and support new work, and will help shape key curatorial decisions, contribute to exhibitions, editorial outputs, digital storytelling, and other public‑facing projects. The programme offers a stipend of up to £3,000, part‑time flexible work (approximately one day per week), and a 7‑month duration starting in October 2026. Applicants must be early‑career curators or cultural practitioners from global majority countries or historically underrepresented communities; formal curatorial titles are not required.
