Reginald Sylvester II's Wohnsitz

Reginald Sylvester II participates as part of a new residency developed with Limbo Museum. Shifting between painting and sculpture, Sylvester incorporates industrial and readymade materials such as rubber, steel, tarp, and aluminium. He activates these materials for the histories they carry, allowing each work to unfold through them. The residency is a five-week program that will take place at the Limbo Museum in Accra, Ghana. During this time, Sylvester will work on a new body of work that explores the intersection of materiality, history, and the body. The residency is open to artists who are interested in exploring the possibilities of industrial materials and the readymade in their work.
