Transart Institute’s long‑established PhD programme reopens this month. The three‑year accelerated programme supports a substantial public‑facing project that integrates creative practice with doctoral research. Applicants receive bespoke academic mentorship from Transart’s faculty network and may invite external experts to join their advisory team. The programme is delivered fully online (HyFlex) with optional in‑person Nexus events held in cities such as Berlin, London, Toronto and Venice. Participants benefit from monthly advisor and peer‑research group meetings, guest‑faculty intensive sessions, and lifelong membership in the Transart research community. The call is open to researchers and creative practitioners across a wide range of transdisciplinary specialisms, with no nationality restriction. Application deadline is 31 August 2026.
