Princeton-Kunststipendium

The Princeton Arts Fellowship, administered by the Lewis Center for the Arts, invites early‑career artists in dance, theater, music, and visual arts to spend two consecutive academic years (September 1–July 1) at Princeton University. Fellows receive a $93,000 annual stipend, access to research funds, and are expected to teach one course per semester or undertake an artistic assignment. The fellowship is open to non‑U.S. citizens and requires no prior Ph.D. from Princeton. Applicants must submit a CV, reference contact, work samples, and a 750‑word proposal. The deadline is September 8, 2026, 11:59 p.m. (EDT).

Teaching, facilities, equipment

Holders of Ph.D. degrees from Princeton are not eligible to apply. Past recipients of the Hodder Fellowship and individuals who have had a sustained and continuous relationship with Princeton University are not eligible to apply.
