Residenzprogramm „Positive Ambisonics“

Positive Ambisonics is a small, independent residency located in Tayvallich on the west coast of Scotland. It invites artists, writers, and researchers whose work engages with sound, language, ecology, or image to immerse themselves in a natural landscape and explore ambisonic and field recording techniques. The residency provides a flexible studio, access to ambisonic tools, separate self‑contained accommodation, and ample time for deep focus and experimentation. Residents are encouraged to develop new methods that emphasize spatial aesthetics and to share their findings with the community. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, with no fixed deadline, and the residency runs from March to October each year.
