TERAVARNA announces the 14th ANIMAL International Juried Art Competition, open to visual artists of all ages (18+) from around the world. Participants may submit 2D or 3D works in any medium, including painting, sculpture, photography, digital, mixed media, fiber, printmaking, and installation, provided the artwork is entirely human‑created (AI‑generated works are prohibited). The competition theme is ANIMAL, allowing representation of any real, mythological, or imagined creature. Submissions are accepted online via a $20 non‑refundable fee per artwork. The deadline for entries is 15 August 2026, 11:59 PM California Time. Up to $5,000 in cash prizes will be awarded, with prize ranges for First, Runner‑Up, Merit, and Talent categories. Winners also receive a six‑month feature on the ARTSY marketplace, press releases, a VR showcase, extensive social‑media promotion, newsletter exposure, and optional coupons for artists from developing regions or with disabilities.
