Residenzprogramm des Basler Hauses des Films

The Basel House of Film offers a three‑month residency for up‑and‑coming filmmakers (maximum age 43) from Switzerland and abroad. Residents receive access to a clubhouse, meeting room, office space, a small cinema with VR equipment, and an editing/grading suite, as well as a stipend to cover travel expenses and cost of living. While there is no formal mentoring programme, the team connects residents with the local film network. Applicants can work on any film‑related project, with no obligation to produce a specific work. The residency is open on a rolling basis, with applications accepted year‑round via an online form. The house also hosts occasional events and screenings that residents may attend.
