We are looking for volunteers and interns to help us run the farm as it takes a lot of hands to keep things running smoothly. There is always something to do in Maajaam. We expect the volunteer to commit on duties for minimum 4 hours a day 5 days a week. The rest of the time, the volunteer is free to use any of Maajaam’s facilities for their own projects. The minimum volunteering period is one week , but we occasionally make exceptions for shorter-term volunteering sessions. Feel free to contact us if you’re interested in a shorter stay. There is no financial support from Maajaam. Volunteer or intern must find their own resources for travel costs. In most cases, volunteer has to take care of their own food. Duties for volunteers and interns are dynamic and seasonal. It might include: * farm work (gardening, lawn mowing, snow shoveling) * workshop management (cleaning, organizing) * residency management (housekeeping, hosting) * developments (construction work) * assistance to artists * cooking for groups * documenting processes, social media * welcoming visitors, giving tours Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions: volunteer@maajaam.ee.
