Offene Ausschreibung: Kulinarische Residenz
DAS MINSK
Über Diese Gelegenheit
The newly launched culinary residency program at DAS MINSK Kunsthaus in Potsdam invites chefs, artists, food designers, and interdisciplinary practitioners to explore the history of the former terrace restaurant or develop contemporary forms of communal dining. Applicants are asked to treat cooking as a cultural and artistic practice, engaging with themes such as community, memory, hospitality, nutrition, regional tradition, agricultural science, ecology, and the future of food. During the residency, the recipient will develop a project and present it as part of the museum’s public program, aiming to open new perspectives on art, food, and social issues and actively engage visitors. The residency offers a stipend of 1,000 € per month, reimbursement of travel expenses for the start of the residency, a furnished apartment, potential coverage of production costs for the project proposal, access to exhibitions and relevant work areas, and support from the museum team. Family members are welcome to join, with accommodation for up to three people provided, though travel or living expenses for them are not covered. Applications must include a short biography, portfolio or work samples, a brief project description (max. 2 pages), and a cost estimate (max. 1 page). The deadline is 5 September 2026, 11:59 PM. The recipient will be selected by a panel of experts, with the announcement expected in November/December 2026.
