Offene Ausschreibung für ein LGBTQ+-Künstlerresidenzprogramm bei nina Idyllwild
Über Diese Gelegenheit
The Artist Residency at nina Idyllwild is a queer‑centered program dedicated to LGBTQ+ artists residing in California. Located in a private cabin in the San Jacinto Mountains near Idyllwild, the residency offers a fully funded two‑week stay (14 days) with private housing (two bedrooms, two bathrooms, hot tub), utilities, internet, and professional cleaning. Residents are self‑directed but receive a kickoff call, connection to nina’s Los Angeles creative ecosystem, and are expected to participate in an end‑of‑season showcase in Atwater Village, Los Angeles. The call welcomes solo applicants as well as small creative duos or collectives (2‑4 people). Eligibility is limited to LGBTQ+ artists living in California, of any career stage, working in interdisciplinary, digital, literary, multimedia, sound, textile, or graphic design practices; studio‑intensive practices such as painting, ceramics, sculpture, or large‑scale installation are not supported. A non‑refundable $20 application fee applies (waivers/reductions available). Travel, food, and personal materials are the responsibility of the resident. Applications open on July 24 2026 and close on August 21 2026. Selected residents begin their stay on November 7 2026 (with additional dates throughout the season).
