Neimënster: Land-Art-Residenzen 2026 (Luxemburg)

Frist: July 26, 2026

Über Diese Gelegenheit

Neimënster, a contemporary art space in Luxembourg City, is opening its parvis (courtyard) to artistic proposals that employ natural, organic, or ephem materials. The call targets visual artists, designers, and set designers who wish to create land‑art or ephem sculptures that can withstand the Luxembourg winter. Applicants must use biodegradable, non‑toxic materials, preferably sourced from recovery or recycling, and design their works to endure wind and cold. The residency runs from 19 October to 14 November 2026, with an optional two‑week creation and installation period for selected projects. Each selected project receives a €4,000 research residency grant, followed by a €2,000 grant for the creation/installation phase. Participants are provided with a 40 m² studio (maximum 3 m ceiling), housing if necessary, a tailored production budget, logistical and technical support, and visibility through neimënster’s media and social channels. The works will be displayed on the parvis from December 2026 to February 2027. Applications are free and should include a motivation letter, project description, preliminary budget, portfolio, and CV. The deadline is 26 July 2026, with selected leaders contacted by the end of August.
