Monumental Crafts – Offene Ausschreibung 2027 (Einzel- und Gruppenausstellungen)

Monumental Crafts 2027 is a major Nordic collaboration between Ifö Center (Sweden) and Konsthantverkscentrum (Sweden), supported by the Nordic Culture Fund, the Swedish Arts Council and Region Skåne. The project invites craft artists from Norway, Denmark and Sweden to apply for a group exhibition (May 8 – August 21 2027) featuring up to three monumental works per artist, as well as a residency (up to eight weeks) followed by a solo exhibition (August 28 – October 30 2027). Selected artists receive a 5,000 SEK exhibition fee, a weekly stipend of 1,000 SEK during residency, a 16,320 SEK solo exhibition fee, covered travel, accommodation in a shared house, and access to extensive workshop facilities (kilns, weaving studios, metalwork, woodworking, and more). Swedish applicants must be members of Konsthantverkscentrum; Norwegian and Danish artists may apply directly. Applications are submitted via separate online forms for the exhibition and residency, with a single deadline of 15 October 2026. The call emphasizes large‑scale, material‑intensive practice and offers extensive production support, public engagement opportunities, and full insurance coverage for artworks.
