DIE ACHT

Le HUIT is a residency for artists located in the village of Mirepoix in south‑east France. The program provides fully furnished accommodation and a dedicated studio space in a restored 1940s house, including a kitchen, living room, small courtyard, a 25 m² bedroom with private bathroom, and a 25 m² studio. The house can host two people (four if necessary). Stays can range from two weeks to three months, and the residency welcomes musicians, writers, photographers, painters, designers and other visual and performing artists. Applicants are asked to submit a portfolio; there is no application fee. The residency fee is 450 € per week for housing and studio use. The program is currently accepting applications on a rolling basis, with no fixed deadline announced. The residency is part of the Mountain Songs Factory network and is managed by Le HUIT.
