Internationales Residenzprogramm 2027

The Nirox Foundation Residency, located on a 1,000‑hectare private nature reserve in the Cradle of Humankind near Johannesburg, provides artists with a two‑bedroom house, a large double‑volume studio, mezzanine workspace, and access to a 15‑hectare sculpture park. Residents receive fully serviced accommodation with meals prepared on‑site, reliable rural Wi‑Fi, and assistance with sourcing materials and building. The program encourages interaction with local communities, museums, and other artists, and residents are asked to leave an artwork for the foundation archives. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis; interested artists should contact the foundation with a CV, artist statement, portfolio and a brief motivation.
