Internationales Museum für Geschirrdesign – Jurierte Ausstellung zum Thema Essstäbchen (7. nationale Biennale)

The International Museum of Dinnerware Design (IMoDD) announces its Seventh National Biennial Juried Exhibition titled “Chopsticks.” The exhibition will run from April 10 to July 11, 2027 at the museum in Kingston, New York, with an opening reception on April 10. Artists and designers are invited to submit work in any medium that interprets the theme of chopsticks and the dining experience, including functional dinnerware, 2D and 3D designs, sculptures, drawings, paintings, or photographs. Submissions must be created within the last two years, be for sale, and conform to size limits (maximum 18 inches in any dimension; 2‑D works up to 18 × 24 inches). The call is open to U.S. artists and designers over 18 years of age. An entry fee of $35 covers up to three entries. Applications are accepted via mail or email, with a deadline of 5 p.m. EST on January 31, 2027. Selected works will be juried by Beth Lo and displayed in the museum, included in an online catalogue, and may be sold with a 30 % commission retained by the museum. Artists are responsible for shipping costs and must provide prepaid return shipping. No housing or travel support is offered.
