HERALBONY-Kunstpreis 2027

The HERALBONY Art Prize, established in 2024, is an international art award that supports artists with disabilities worldwide, regardless of professional status, age, or nationality. The 2027 edition opens for applications on 30 September 2026 and closes on 3 November 2026 (23:59 JST). Applicants may submit up to three two‑dimensional works (paintings, prints, digital art, photographs, mixed media) that fit size limits (max 200 cm longest side, 15 kg). Works must be original, owned by the artist, never previously awarded, not commercialised, and not generated by AI. Eligibility requires proof of disability (government ID, school certificate, or medical certificate). Submissions are made via an online form, with a 50‑minute time limit per entry. The Grand Prize awards JPY 3 million; additional Jury and Corporate prizes are also offered. All prize‑winning works will be exhibited in Tokyo (SMBC Earth Garden) from late May to June 2027, with shipping and return costs covered by the organizer. The prize aims to showcase diverse artistic expressions, challenge conventional notions of disability, and provide career‑advancing exposure for participating artists.
