Die jährliche öffentliche Ausstellung der South West Academy 2026

The South West Academy (SWAc) is accepting submissions for its 27th consecutive Annual Open Exhibition 2026, to be held at Kennaway House, Coburg Road, Sidmouth, Devon (EX10 8NG). The call welcomes works in two‑ and three‑dimensional media, including painting, drawing, print, sculpture, photography, textiles, jewellery, glass and ceramics. Artists may submit up to six works, with a maximum of four works selected per artist. The exhibition will run from 27 October to 7 November 2026, with a private view on 29 October. Awards include gallery exhibition awards, national art material awards, a members’ president award, cash prizes and a Young Artist award for artists under 25. All selected works are expected to be for sale, and a 40 % commission is applied. Artists are responsible for delivery, insurance and collection of their works; a daily charge of £10 applies for late collection. The deadline for entries is midnight on 17 September 2026.
