Über Diese Gelegenheit
FestiVita! Brussels Early Music Festival announces the 5th edition of the Première Early Music Competition, themed “Madrid and Spain”. The competition seeks young ensembles playing on period instruments who can combine artistic performance, scholarly research and rhetorical presentation. After a video pre‑selection, five winning groups will be invited to perform in the final concert on Saturday, 13 February 2027 at the Cercle Royal Gaulois in Brussels. Each winning artist receives a minimum fee of €500, exposure to an international audience, and the opportunity to collaborate with the festival’s artist‑in‑residence, Spanish cellist Víctor García García. Applications are submitted via an online form; a detailed PDF outlines the procedure and eligibility criteria. The call is open to ensembles of any nationality; no age limit or entry fee is mentioned.
