Über Diese Gelegenheit
The Doc Society Climate Story Fund supports independent nonfiction storytelling that helps audiences imagine a more just, climate‑resilient future and inspires action. Open to documentary films (any length), nonfiction series, radio documentaries and podcasts, the fund provides grants of up to USD 125,000 for projects in late production, rough‑cut or completed stages, as well as up to USD 40,000 for short‑form films (≤ 40 min). Applicants must be 18 years or older, based anywhere in the world, and must have at least one director or producer with a proven track record and a producer attached to the project. Projects must have secured at least one institutional funder (except for short‑film criteria) and be independently created with full artistic control. Student projects are not eligible. The fund covers production, post‑production and impact‑related expenses, and includes participation in a February 2027 Impact Lab and access to a global network of climate storytellers. The application process begins with an Expression of Interest (EOI) that closes on 6 July 2026, followed by a full application deadline in the last week of August 2026. No entry fee is required.
