Design Wave Festival 2026 – Offener Aufruf für die Modenschau

Design Wave Festival 2026, taking place 25–27 November 2026 in Riga, Latvia, hosts an Open Call for a catwalk presentation on Thursday 26 November. The call welcomes emerging and established fashion designers, costume creators, wearable‑art artists, digital fashion innovators and interdisciplinary creative teams to showcase experimental prototypes, finished collections or artistic garments. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and may come from any country. Submissions are accepted in two tracks: the PROTOTYPE track (Creative Readiness Level 4–6) for developing works, which also competes for the CREASheroes international residency pathway, and the PRODUCT track (CRL 7–9) for completed works, which serves as a showcase. The festival provides a physical runway at KOKA Riga, mentorship, networking opportunities, exposure to an international audience, and the possibility to join interdisciplinary hackathon teams for further development. While travel and accommodation are the responsibility of participants, the event offers a platform for visibility, collaboration, and potential residency awards. Applications are submitted via the Design Wave Festival platform and must be received by 10 November 2026.
