Künstlerresidenzprogramm der Cub Creek Foundation

The Artist‑in‑Residence program at Cub Creek Foundation offers emerging and established ceramic artists a month‑long to three‑year stay on a rural farm in Appomattox, Virginia. Residents receive a dedicated workspace within a shared studio building and a private bedroom in a six‑bedroom house. Participants are expected to be self‑motivated, respect communal spaces, and contribute to weekly cleaning, wood preparation, and monthly resident meetings. The residency provides access to a range of kilns (gas reduction, soda/salt, wood), on‑site native clay, and the support of staff and fellow artists. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis; applicants must submit 10‑20 high‑resolution images of their work, an artist statement (PDF), a letter of intent (PDF), and a $25 application fee via Venmo or Cash App. Rent is $1,100 per month with a $200 refundable security deposit and a $100 non‑refundable cleaning fee.
