Creative Flagstaff
Über Diese Gelegenheit
Creative Flagstaff’s Arts & Science Grants program provides funding to support the growth and sustainability of arts, science, and cultural initiatives in the greater Flagstaff community. The program offers two types of grants: Project Grants and General Operating Support Grants. Project Grants are designed to build capacity or expand a program, while General Operating Support Grants help sustain organizations. For the 2027 cycle, the Project Grant application opens on August 10, 2026 and the deadline is September 18, 2026, 11:30 pm. Grants range from $5,000 for post‑secondary education institutions to a maximum of $20,000 for other applicants, with match requirements for awards over $10,000. Eligibility requires applicants to be non‑profit organizations or individuals with a non‑profit fiscal agent based in the greater Flagstaff area, 501(c)(3) or (c)(6) status, or a post‑secondary institution. First‑time applicants must contact grant staff to confirm eligibility. The funding period is January 1–December 31, 2027, with payments distributed in installments. The grant supports tangible assets, professional development, personnel, technology, and community‑engaged projects that align with innovation or capacity building. Applicants submit through the Submittable platform, providing a balanced budget, narrative, and optional work samples. The grant does not provide housing or travel support.
