Aufruf an Künstler: Ausstellungsvorschläge für 2027

Rumriver Art Center, a 501(c)(3) non‑profit community art center located in Anoka, Minnesota, is seeking regional artists to propose solo, duo, or group exhibitions for its Jan Johansen Gallery (2D & 3D) and the 21 Step Gallery (2D only). The call is open to all artistic disciplines except digital/virtual works that require special technological support. AI‑generated images and writing are accepted. No professional experience is required. Applications are submitted online via a JotForm and must include contact information, an artist statement (max 1000 words), a written proposal, and five images of sample work. The submission window closes on August 21, 2026 at 11:59 pm (free to apply). Selected artists will be offered a gallery show; a non‑refundable $50 gallery deposit and signed contract are due by October 11, 2026. The center provides exhibition space, gallery infrastructure, and handles sales commissions (35% of sold works). Shipping of artworks is supported, and artists are encouraged to insure their work privately. Notification of decisions will be sent by September 18, 2026.
