AUSSCHREIBUNG: Bildende Kunst – Henry-Goodman-Ausstellung für Nachwuchskünstler

Fusion: The Ontario Clay and Glass Association (FUSION) is seeking emerging visual artists to submit wall‑mounted paintings, collages or photographs that explore the theme “gathering.” Selected works will be exhibited alongside ceramic and glass pieces by FUSION members at Neilson Park Creative Arts Centre in Etobicoke, Ontario, from September 21 to October 11, 2026. The exhibition is juried by Chukwudubem Ukaigwe, a 2025 Sobey Art Award finalist. Emerging artists are defined as those in the early stages of a professional career, regardless of age, who are building a focused body of work and seeking public exposure through exhibitions, sales, commissions, residencies, teaching, or other professional opportunities. Submissions must include an artist statement that explains how the work relates to the theme of gathering. The deadline for submissions is August 28, 2026 at 5 p.m. Applications are free. No monetary prize is offered; the benefit is inclusion in a juried exhibition and associated publicity. The call is open to artists worldwide, though the exhibition venue is in Etobicoke, ON, Canada.
