Vorsitzender, CoMA Manchester

CoMA, a new‑music charity, is seeking a volunteer Chair for its Manchester ensemble. The Chair will lead a small committee, work with the Musical Director to plan artistic activities and concert programmes, organise rehearsal venues and schedules, communicate with members, manage the ensemble’s email, promote inclusivity and health & safety, and act as the main liaison with CoMA Central. Responsibilities also include chairing committee meetings, preparing an annual report for the AGM, attending CoMA’s AGM and ensemble meetings, handling finance spreadsheets, and optionally contributing to CoMA’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusivity sub‑committee. The role offers leadership experience, training opportunities, and networking within the contemporary music community.
