Aufruf zur Einreichung von Beiträgen – Neue Perspektiven: Eine lebendige Zukunft
Etobicoke Civic Centre Art Gallery
Über Diese Gelegenheit
The City of Toronto, in partnership with Humber Polytechnic’s Arts Administration and Cultural Management 2026/27 cohort, invites emerging artists from equity‑seeking communities in the Greater Toronto Area to submit work for the juried exhibition New Vistas: Vibrant Future at the Etobicoke Civic Centre Art Gallery. The exhibition, running from 2 December 2026 to 14 January 2027, will showcase up to two works per artist (one required) that explore themes such as memory, cultural traditions, community, identity, transformation, and imagined futures. Selected artists will exhibit their work in the gallery, may offer works for sale, and will be promoted through New Vistas and local arts‑community social media channels. The call is open to early‑career artists (approximately 2‑5 years of practice), 18 years or older, who identify as IBPOC, newcomers, Deaf, persons with disabilities, or 2SLGBTQIA+, and who live or work in the GTA. Applications are free and must be submitted via the provided Google Form by 9 November 2026, 11:59 pm. Artists must also adhere to the gallery’s Terms of Entry. Selected works will be delivered on 29 November 2026. This annual exhibition marks the 50th anniversary of the gallery and offers a platform for emerging voices to be seen, sold, and celebrated.
