Über Diese Gelegenheit
The Arts Envoy Program, administered by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, invites U.S. artists and arts professionals—including visual artists, performers, poets, chefs, dancers, filmmakers, curators and others—to apply for funded cultural exchange projects abroad. Participants travel to partner countries, conduct workshops, performances, exhibitions or other artistic activities, and receive professional development support. The program aims to strengthen diplomatic ties through the arts and address foreign‑policy themes. Applications are open to U.S. citizens and permanent residents; no application fee is required. Selected envoys receive travel support, a stipend, and logistical assistance for the duration of their project. The call is ongoing with varying deadlines for different regions and project types.
