Über Diese Gelegenheit
The Arts Council, in partnership with the Digital Media and Arts Research Centre (DMARC) at the University of Limerick, invites applications from mid‑career and established digital artists for its Digital Artist in Residence programme. This is the second edition of the residency, following a pilot in 2025, and provides a €18,000 award together with full access to UL’s CSIS facilities, including a maker space, multichannel surround‑sound environment, recording studios, immersive technology lab with green‑screen and motion‑capture capabilities, and the wider university community. The residency aims to give artists a stimulating environment to develop their digital practice. Applications open on 14 August 2026 and close on 23 October 2026. No application fee is required. Successful applicants will receive the stipend and the listed facilities for the duration of the residency.
