Art Omi: Künstler 2027

Art Omi: Artists is an annual international residency program that brings together artists, critics, and curators for a three‑week intensive period in the Hudson River Valley, New York. The 2027 residency runs from June 17 to July 12, 2027, following an open call that runs from August 14 to September 14, 2026. Applicants must have been professionally active for at least five years and may work in visual arts, sound art, performance, or social practice. The program provides two dozen artists with private studio spaces (both indoor and protected outdoor), a kiln, basic tools, Wi‑Fi, a shared computer, and access to a professional photography lab. All meals are supplied, and participants stay in a historic farmhouse with full kitchen and communal areas. Additional amenities include a swimming pool, bicycles, and a sculpture & architecture park on the 300‑acre campus. No application fee is required for fellows; the standard application fee is $15 USD. The residency culminates in an Open Studios event open to the public. Fellowships offering travel grants and stipends are also available for artists from specific regions or backgrounds.
