Apexart – Offene Ausschreibungen 2027–28

Apexart, a non‑profit arts organization in Lower Manhattan, runs its Open Calls twice a year, inviting curators, artists, writers and other creative professionals to propose focused, idea‑driven group exhibitions. The NYC call runs from October 1‑31, 2026 for the 2027‑28 season, while the International call runs from February 1‑March 1, 2027 for exhibitions outside New York. Proposals are submitted online in English and are judged anonymously by Apexart’s international community. Selected projects receive a $10,000 production budget, staff assistance, and after the exhibition a $2,000 honorarium for the organizer/curator. International projects may also receive up to $1,000 in venue‑rental matching. The call is free to enter, open to anyone worldwide, and requires a group exhibition of at least three artists (four if the curator is also an artist). Applications must not include personal identifiers, dates, or sales‑related activities. Successful proposals become part of Apexart’s exhibition program, with the organization handling installation, documentation and related logistics.
