Archiv-Residenz – Sommer 2027

Archival Bootcamp presents a six‑day international residency in the Valencian countryside for artists, curators, researchers, archivists, librarians, writers, educators and cultural practitioners who wish to work critically with archives as creative tools. The program runs from August 3 to September 7, 2027 (participants may choose their exact dates) and includes morning lectures on archives and memory, resident‑led workshops, peer‑to‑peer feedback sessions, film screenings, communal meals and access to a Nomadic Library. Residents receive five nights of accommodation, vegetarian meals, all programming, materials and mentorship. No application fee is required; a residency fee of €950‑€1,300 (depending on room type) is payable, with installment options. The Community Archive Caretakers Scholarship covers the €950 fee for members of nonprofits or grassroots collectives caring for community archives, with priority given to practitioners from the Global South.
