Connecting Threads 2027

Artcore Gallery is calling for two UK‑based artists to participate in the Connecting Threads 2027 Winter Residency Programme at Space Studio in Vadodara, India. The residency runs for four weeks in January–February 2027 and is part of a wider winter cohort of artists from across India. Selected artists will receive studio space, basic infrastructure, individual accommodation, three meals per day, and access to the studio community. They will also receive return international travel support, a £1,000 bursary, mentoring, and promotion through Artcore and Space Studio’s communication channels. The programme includes studio visits, discussions, presentations, community engagement, and a public presentation or open studio at the conclusion. Applicants must be UK‑based, emerging or mid‑career, working across visual arts, craft, design, performance, socially engaged or research‑led practice, and be available for the full residency period. A CV, biography, statement, portfolio, motivation statement, and confirmation of availability are required. The deadline to apply is 12 September 2026. The call is open to UK artists only and offers full accommodation, meals, travel support, and a bursary.
