Dublin Youth Theatre (DYT), the longest‑established youth theatre in Ireland, is seeking a part‑time General Manager to lead the organisation and deliver its year‑round programme. The role works closely with the Artistic Director and Programme Coordinator to implement activities such as weekly Saturday workshops, the Members One Act Festival, the Debut One Act Festival, an annual large‑scale production, a residential workshop weekend, international exchanges, and membership recruitment.
Key responsibilities include overall financial management (budget preparation, payments, expense processing), income generation (funding applications, sponsorship, fundraising events), operations and administration, supervision of staff, venue liaison, compliance with the Charities Regulator’s Governance Code and GDPR, child protection, marketing and communications, and building management and health & safety.
The position is part‑time (20‑30 hours per week) with a pro‑ra ta salary of €40,000 per annum, negotiated according to the agreed hours. Applicants should have a proven track‑record in the arts or youth work and a strong commitment to supporting young people.
