The 30th edition of the International Festival of Alternative Theatrical Expression (FAKI) organized by AKC Attack seeks submissions from artists, performers, collectives, activists, researchers and theatre critics. The festival will run from 24 to 30 May 2027 in Zagreb, Croatia. Applicants are encouraged to present works that question, reinvent, or embody contemporary societal issues, using performance as a method of artistic expression. Selected participants will receive a performance slot at the festival, gaining exposure to an international audience and becoming part of a three‑decade legacy of independent performing arts. Applications are free and must be submitted by 20 August 2026 (23:59 CET) via the provided Google Form. No monetary prize, housing, or travel support is mentioned.
