2026年作品征集及工作室驻留计划——Stride画廊
关于此机会
Stride Gallery (220, 625 11 Ave. SW, Calgary, AB) is announcing its 2026 Call for Submissions, offering a combined studio residency and exhibition opportunity for four artists each year. Selected artists will begin with a three‑month residency in a semi‑private 176 sq ft studio equipped with lockers, work tables, a wood‑shop, and a communal kitchen. Mentorship is provided through staff and peer support, covering grant‑writing, technical skills, and networking. After the residency, each artist will present an 8‑10‑week exhibition in the gallery space, with the option to showcase new or existing work. The call prioritises local artists from the Treaty 7 region, QTBIPOC artists, and those from equity‑seeking communities. Out‑of‑town artists are not provided accommodation or living expenses, and the program does not cover travel support. Materials such as clay, aerosols, or other hazardous substances are limited due to building restrictions. Applications are submitted via a Google Form, and the deadline has been extended to August 9, 2026 at 11:59 pm MST. This is an annual, recurring call, with residencies commencing in the fall of the following year.
