The Yéego Action Grant, administered by the First Peoples Fund, offers financial assistance of up to $2,500 to individual Native artists and culture bearers who need rapid support for a professional opportunity, emergency situation, or unanticipated expense that impacts their art practice. Grants can be used for market‑entry fees, workshop fees, travel and lodging for residencies or seminars, emergency repairs, transportation costs, or urgent medical expenses related to artistic work. Applications are submitted through Submittable and are reviewed monthly. The deadline is the 10th of each month at 3:00 pm MT (next deadline: 2026‑08‑10). Applicants must be at least 18, be members of or descend from a U.S. federally or state‑recognized tribe (or be Alaska Native/Native Hawaiian), be practicing artists, not currently enrolled in a degree program, and must not have previously received a Yéego Action Grant. The grant is awarded on a rolling basis, with funds disbursed 6–8 weeks after the deadline. No application fee is required.
