Inscrições abertas: “Black & White” – Concurso Internacional de Fotografia e Exposição
Sobre Esta Oportunidade
Allora Gallery, an independent photography space in Glasgow, is calling for submissions to its "Black & White" international photography contest and exhibition. The competition seeks images that use the full range of tone and light to reveal what colour might conceal, encouraging photographers to treat black‑and‑white as a deliberate artistic choice rather than a filter. Entries may be portraits, landscapes, long exposures or any work that demonstrates the power and discipline of monochrome. The call is open to photographers of all levels and backgrounds worldwide, with no age restriction stated. Submissions are judged by Oksana Bochina, founder of Allora Gallery. Winners receive a solo exhibition at the gallery in October 2026, email and social‑media promotion, and a digital certificate. Honorable mentions receive free participation in a future Allora Gallery exhibition or competition, plus promotion and a certificate. Up to 30 finalists will be featured in a group exhibition and promoted across the gallery’s platforms. The competition runs from now until 27 July 2026, with the exhibition scheduled for 17 August to 17 September 2026. Entry fees are £7 for up to two photographs, £12 for up to four, and £16 for up to six; selected finalists pay no fee. The gallery provides exhibition space and promotion but no travel or housing support.
