The City of Onkaparinga’s Local Artists Grant Program provides financial support to individual artists, artist groups, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander corporations, and not‑for‑profit creative organisations based in the City of Onkaparinga. The grant aims to strengthen artistic practice, promote cultural diversity, and enhance community engagement through new artistic projects. Eligible projects must be located in or benefit the City of Onkaparinga, demonstrate artistic value, and align with the City’s Community Vision 2034 and Arts and Cultural Development Action Plan 2021‑25. Grants range from AUD 2,000 to AUD 7,500, with a maximum project completion date of 31 December 2027. Applicants must submit a project proposal, budget, CV, and up to four examples of previous work. The application process is free of charge, and matched funding is generally not required, though applicants seeking significant equipment purchases must contribute at least 50 % of the cost.
