À Propos de Cette Opportunité
The New Mexico Arts Art in Public Places (AIPP) program launches a series of 2026 Purchase Initiatives that allow artists to sell artwork to public institutions across New Mexico and the Southwest. Four main calls are open: • Southwest Artist Series (applications open Aug 1 2026, price range $5,000‑$50,000, open to artists and galleries in NM, AZ, UT, CO, OK, TX). • Spaceport America Sundial Public Art Project (deadline 9/4/2026, project budget $300,000, open to all U.S. artists). • Native American & Indigenous Artist Purchase Initiative (applications open Sep 1 2026, price range $5,000‑$50,000, open to U.S. artists with special consideration for tribal members). • NM Blue Bus Shelter Art (deadline 8/14/2026, $5,000 grant per artist for digital artwork on three bus shelters). Artists create a free account on the CaFÉ platform, upload a portfolio, and submit up to three qualified artworks per initiative. No application fee is required. Selections are made by regional buying committees; selected artists receive the all‑inclusive purchase price, which must cover artwork, framing, installation, travel, insurance, and documentation. The program aims to diversify New Mexico’s public art collection and supports artists at all career stages. Detailed notices, prospectuses, and guidelines are linked on the page.
