À Propos de Cette Opportunité
Wave Hill Public Garden & Cultural Center in the Bronx, New York, in partnership with AnkhLave Arts Alliance, invites NYC‑based BIPOC visual artists to apply for the 9th Annual AnkhLave Garden Project Fellowship (2027). The fellowship supports six artists who will develop site‑responsive sculpture or installation work during the Winter Workspace residency program from February 23 to April 18, 2027. Selected fellows receive an honorarium of $1,800 (four artists) or $8,000 (two Van Lier Fellows under 30) and professional development opportunities, community activities, and exhibition slots: a garden exhibition from May 8 to July 4, 2027, or a solo exhibition in the Sunroom Project Space from May 15 to July 4, 2027. The program provides free studio space, a financial stipend, access to Wave Hill’s plant collections, gardens, libraries, and curatorial staff, as well as public open‑studio events. Eligibility requires artists to live in one of the five NYC boroughs, be in the early stages of their career, and not have prior participation in Wave Hill’s Winter Workspace or related exhibitions. Applications close on August 10, 2026. An information session is held on July 20, 2026. The fellowship is an annual (recurring) call.
