Acerca de Esta Oportunidad

Fluxus Experimental Film Festival, organized by Factory Media Centre in collaboration with Hamilton Artists Inc. and McMaster University School of the Arts, invites submissions of short experimental moving‑image works. The call is open to artists, collectives and collaborators based in or working in Canada. Works must be 15 minutes or less, created no earlier than 2021, and submitted as private Vimeo or YouTube links accompanied by an artist bio, CV, brief description, and two still images. Submissions are free and unrestricted by theme, with a limit of one entry per artist or group. Selected works will be screened during two public sessions on September 18‑19, 2026 in Hamilton, and successful applicants will receive IMAA remuneration within 30 days of the screenings. The festival encourages equity‑focused participation, welcoming Black, Indigenous, disabled, LGBTQI+, women, and other under‑represented creators. Restricciones

Applicants must be currently based and/or working in Canada. Submissions must be 15 minutes or less, created no earlier than 2021. One submission per artist/group. Open to solo artists, collectives, and collaborations. No thematic restrictions.
