Acerca de Esta Oportunidad

Denver Public Art, part of Denver Arts & Venues, has issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for a new public art commission at Rosamond Park in southeast Denver. The project aims to celebrate the park’s identity by drawing on its natural landscape and vibrant community activities, creating a year‑round visual presence that brightens the park, especially in winter, and incorporates playful, inclusive elements for all ages. The commission budget is approximately $95,000 USD, covering the artist’s design fee, fabrication, installation, materials, insurance, travel, per‑diem, and related costs. Eligible applicants are individual artists or artist teams residing in the United States, with no restriction on discipline, career stage, or age. Applications are submitted through the CallForEntry.org (CaFÉ™) system, requiring six to eight digital images of past work and a statement of interest (max 2,000 characters). No entry fee is required. A virtual pre‑application meeting was held on July 29, 2026, with a recording available online. Selected finalists will receive an honorarium and must attend community and technical meetings in September‑October 2026, with a final presentation in November. The deadline for submissions is 11:59 p.m. MST on August 17, 2026.
