Composed 2026

Composed is a juried exhibition organized by PhotoPlace Gallery in collaboration with the Texas Photographic Society. Photographers from across the United States and around the world are invited to submit images where composition is central to the visual impact. All photographic genres and processes—including digital, analog, and alternative methods—are welcome. The call opened on July 1, 2026 and submissions close on August 3, 2026 via the CaFE submission site. Entry fees are $30 for Texas Photographic Society members (for up to five images) and $40 for non‑members, with an additional $5 per extra image. Selected works will be exhibited at PhotoPlace Gallery in Middlebury, Vermont from October 2 to October 31, 2026, and approximately 40 images will appear in an online gallery. Artists whose work is chosen receive inclusion in the exhibition catalog, permanent placement in the gallery and society’s online archives, promotional exposure, and eligibility for three cash awards: a $500 Juror’s Award, a $300 Director’s Award, and two $100 Honorable Mentions. The juror for this edition is internationally recognized photographer Brian Finke.
