Festival de Videoarte ALC – Convocatoria de candidaturas

Valencia, Spain
ALC Video Art Festival
Fecha Límite: July 31, 2026

Acerca de Esta Oportunidad

The ALC Video Art Festival, organized by visual artist David Delgado, invites video‑art creators worldwide to submit up to two single‑channel works (maximum 7 minutes, produced after 2024, 720p minimum) for its 2026 edition. The festival will screen selected videos at the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Alicante (MACA) on September 30 and at the Museo de Bellas Artes Gravina (MUBAG) from October 1‑3, where they will also be exhibited in a public shop‑window display. All chosen works become part of the Las Cigarreras Cultural Center’s Video Art collection and are included in an official catalogue for the City Council. The call excludes short films, music videos, documentaries, cartoons, fictional movies, and experimental cinema. No entry fee is required. Submissions must include Spanish subtitles if the original language differs, and works with sexual or violent content are disqualified from the MUBAG display. The festival is open to artists of any nationality, though artists who participated in the previous year will not be selected. The deadline for submissions is 31 July 2026. The festival runs annually, with the 2026 edition taking place on 30 September and 1‑3 October in Alicante and Gravina, Spain.
