New York, United States
Dia Art Foundation
Frist: August 9, 2026

Über Diese Gelegenheit

The Dia Art Foundation’s Learning and Engagement department is offering the 2026–2027 Spiritual Pedagogies Fellowship, a six‑person cohort based in its Beacon and Chelsea locations and engaging Dia sites across New York. Fellows will investigate how contemporary artistic practice intertwines with spiritual traditions, rituals, and embodied experiences, participating in monthly cohort sessions, mentorship meetings, and program engagements from October 2026 to June 2027. The fellowship provides a $3,000 stipend (paid in two installments), individualized mentorship from Dia artists and staff, access to materials, community spaces, and direct involvement with Dia’s public programs, exhibitions, collection, and archives. Participants may also apply for the Fieldwork program to conduct site‑specific research. Applications are open to early‑career artists, educators, and cultural producers with an interest in experimental pedagogy and community engagement. The selection process is competitive, evaluating the thoughtfulness of submitted work and potential for collaborative growth. An online application (Google Forms) is required, along with a letter of intent (audio, video, or written) and a creative response to one of three prompts. The deadline for submissions is Sunday, August 9, 2026. A virtual information session will be held on Monday, July 20, 2026, from 4–5 pm via Zoom.
