Programmmanager

The Canada Council for the Arts is Canada’s national public arts funder. This Program Manager role reports to the program director and oversees the work of program officers, associate program officers, administrative coordinators, program assistants and senior administrative assistants. Responsibilities include developing and managing grant activities and initiatives, supporting artists, arts groups or arts organizations, ensuring efficient operation of activities, managing program employees, providing coaching and development, and collaborating in planning competitions. The position requires an undergraduate degree in arts, public administration or business administration, or equivalent experience, and seven years of experience directly related to the role, including financial and human resources management.
