Förderprogramm „Communities“ von Creative New Zealand

The Creative New Zealand Communities Grant Scheme is a community‑focused funding program administered by Kawerau District Council and funded by Creative New Zealand. It supports arts and cultural projects that encourage local community participation, celebrate cultural diversity, and engage young people. Eligible applicants include individuals (New Zealand citizens or permanent residents) and community groups based in the Kawerau district. Projects must have an arts or cultural focus, be completed within 12 months of funding approval, and not have commenced before the application is assessed. The scheme typically offers grants up to NZD 5,000 and is open for two rounds per year. The current round closes on Friday 31 July 2026. Applications are submitted via a PDF application form and must be sent to the council before the deadline. The council provides application guides, brochures, and a completion form. No application fee is charged.
