Color Space: Contemporary Photography is a juried group photo show organized by Black Box Gallery in Portland, Oregon. The exhibition invites photographers from around the world, both amateur and professional, to submit up to five color photographs that explore contemporary uses of color across various genres. The deadline for submissions is August 7, 2026. An entry fee of $40 per entry (up to five photos) is required. Selected works will be exhibited at the gallery from September 1 to 25, 2026, with 26 photographs shown in the physical space and an additional 50 in the online gallery annex. All exhibition prints are printed, matted, and framed free of charge by the gallery. Artists retain all rights to their images, and the gallery takes a 50% commission on any sales. A catalog of the show will be produced and made available for purchase. The juror for this edition is Todd Johnson, founder and director of Black Box Gallery.
